It is always exciting doing something for the first time.
This past Monday I had the honour of delivering a “Performance at the Limit, Business Lessons from Formula 1” virtual keynote and answer audience questions at Ayala Land’s Town Hall in Manila, Philippines. There were 500 employees in the auditorium and another 2700 participated remotely.
What made this unusual for me was the start time of 3:30pm in Manila. As I am in the USA at this moment, it meant I would be delivering the presentation at 2:30am. The excellent support team at Ayala Land got the technology working, the adrenaline kicked in, and I was ready to go.
Ayala Land is the largest property developer in the Philippines. a pioneer in real estate development with a rich history.
I am grateful to President Meean Dy, Isabel Sagun and Chris Macasaet, for giving me an opportunity to share how Formula 1 teams achieve high performance with the same “Win as One” mindset that Ayala Land are instilling across their organization.
